We had a lovely stay at Mango Lodge,
exactly as you seen in the pictures it is a lovely and comfortable place with great hosts.
Easy to check in, very clean, had everything we needed for the night,
comfy bed and cute garden.Thank you Nigel!
NIgel greeted us on our arrival and was warm and welcoming throughout our stay.
He was always available for any questions and gave us a really good recommendation for dinner at the pub down on the seashore.
This is a great location if you have a dog (we had a Labrador),
as the garden and sitting area are private and secure and the beach is within walking distance.
Lovely little lodge at bottom of Nigel’s garden, quite secluded.
Clean and tidy on arrival. We had Omelette for breakfast ordered in advance for a small extra charge.
Certainly recommend this property if staying in the area.
Nigel was a great host. Hopefully we will return in the future.
Friendly welcome. Accommodation cute & cosy.. the bed was huge and very comfortable.
Nice easy walk to Herme Bay sea front.
Handy as only 35 mins drive to Dover for ferry.We shall definitely be back next year.

We loved the little garden & all the cute garden ornaments,
pet friendly, great for our little doggy to have a run & roll around (literally ?) .

We liked everything about Mango Lodge. Nigel is an exceptional and lovely host.
He maintains a wonderful small garden with diverse flowers and vegetables, a small decking area for meals
but also a table and chair inside should the weather be inclement.
The lodge is small but very comfortable, and both secluded and close to Herne Bay seafront.
I have stayed in a lot of small B&Bs, and had some wonderful breakfasts, but Nigel's are by far the best
whether full English or vegetarian where he Nigel prioritises quality.
We would not hesitate to recommend Mango Lodge to others....and have already passed on details to our friends. Thank you Nigel.
My host was really lovely and although I didn't take him up on it -
the offer of breakfast if booked the day before was a real bonus and something I may do next time.
The accommodation was well stocked with essentials such as milk, tea / coffee, iron and ironing board and toiletries.
Although the property is at the bottom of a small garden, it was a bit of an oasis.
The wifi was excellent which was useful as I was on business. Having a parking space on the driveway was also a bonus.
I had a wonderful stay at Nigels the accommodation and garden is delightful my dog ? loved it.
I availed myself of Nigels catering skills the English breakfast the coffee and the G&T the night before was delicious.
I found Nigel to be very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area.
PS a recommendation of mine of a dog friendly pub is the Hampton inn
its literally 10 minutes drive the food was excellent and very reasonably priced.
Sadly, we were only here for one night before we had to head back home, but we felt very welcome and would definitely recommend it for a longer stay.
Clean, cosy, and there's a generous breakfast selection too.
Nigel was also incredibly friendly and patient with our little dog (who had unfortunately forgotten his best manners),
and super helpful with all our requests. Highly recommended, we would come back in a heartbeat!
Nigel very welcoming. Food first class. For the two nights we stayed in the lodge it was perfect.
The breakfast was excellent high quality. The location was ideal for our needs, central location.
